Port Lands Flood Protection and Enabling Infrastructure Project

Over the next seven years, more than 65 hectares of habitat will be created or enhanced along the Lake Ontario shoreline of Toronto and Mississauga.  Along with increased high quality habitat for fish and wildlife, we will also see improved flood protection and new opportunities for the local community to enjoy and access the lake.

Come learn more about four habitat enhancement projects taking place in your backyard at a Lake Ontario Evening on habitat creation projects on the waterfront. This free event is part of the Lake Ontario Evenings speaker series hosted by the Toronto and Region Remedial Action Plan.  Snacks are provided and drinks are available for purchase.

Location: Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen Street West
